Hyde Park Sydney Thinking Routine
Greetings! today, I am going to do a thinking exercise about the Hyde Park in Sydney. In short terms, the Hyde park is an urban park located in the CBD and it's the oldest public parkland in Austrailia! It is close to the Australian Museum, which contains a lot of history.
Now I am going to start with the thinking routine, based off this image of the Hyde Park in Sydney:
Looking at the picture, I can see the hyde park with a chessboard painted on it's floor, a giant chess pieces, some plants and trees, a bench and a little staircase. There are some people sitting down and there are two people standing, they seem to be having a chess game, but this chessboard looks bigger than usual. I wonder if these chess pieces are just some statues or they can be used as actual chess pieces... Maybe they are real chess pieces and these people go regularly to have a match, like every weekend perhaps. Honeslty, parks seem quite simple at first, but let me tell you that you could do a lot of things, such as doing sports, reading, looking at nature, making picnics, relaxing, walking with your pet, etc... The Hyde park actually reminded me of a park located in my city called "Parque Doña Casilda" (known as "Parque de los patos") which is a very beautiful park full of plants, ducks and fountains. I really like this park since it's very spacious and green, maybe that's why I always hang out with my friends in that park. Going to parks is awesome because no matter how many times I go to one, i never get bored and the nature is always amusing. I enjoy looking at the plants everytime and exploring each corner of the park to discover every secret, sometimes they have a historical past that remains among the nature of the park. Another activity I do at the parks is playing ping pong on the free use ping pong tables, and it's quite fun!
